There are so many benefits of having a second photographer at your wedding. One of the biggest pros to having one is the variety of shots captured which in turn gives YOU better coverage during your big day. Having started shooting weddings as a second, I know first hand the importance of a good second shooter.
Having a second shooter there also allows me to breathe a bit throughout the day. While I’m with you capturing those precious moments during your romantics, I can have my second getting all those candids of your guests enjoying themselves at cocktail hour. This allows me to be more creative and take a bit more time to get all those moments that make your heart sing.
A second shooter is also valuable for larger weddings and bridal parties. It’s much easier to divide and conquer when organizing larger groups. While I’m with the bride and her ladies, my second could be out with the guys, hyping them up and getting their formals done to keep us ahead of schedule.
If you have a tighter timeline for your day, there typically doesn’t leave much room for error. Think of having a second shooter as a nice backup to your main. Think of if like this, while I’m busy capturing you and your families after the ceremony, my second can be off with your guests getting details and other angels of your party! This way I can be in two places at once, never missing a beat and getting you all those shots you desire for your day.
I have a list of steadfast photographers that have similar styles to my own that I can pick from, giving you the best experience possible.
